This Privacy Policy explains how Page Comments Access ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") processes information when it is used with authorized Facebook Pages.
Page Comments Access is designed to help authorized Facebook Page operators process Page interactions and generate contextual responses to eligible comments.
1. Information We Process
Depending on the information made available by Meta through its APIs and webhooks, the App may process information associated with Facebook Page activity, including:
- Facebook Page identifiers;
- post or Reel identifiers;
- comment identifiers;
- identifiers associated with the person or actor who created an interaction, when provided by Meta;
- comment text and related content made available through an authorized Page;
- timestamps and event metadata;
- limited post or parent-comment context when needed to understand an eligible comment;
- generated reply text;
- delivery, processing, deduplication, error, audit and reconciliation records needed to operate and secure the service; and
- technical authorization information necessary to connect authorized Facebook Pages.
The Facebook Page webhook functionality used by the App may make Page feed activity available to the application. The App is intended to use relevant events for its Page-comment functionality and not to generate comment replies from unrelated feed activity.
2. How We Receive Information
Information is received through Meta platforms, APIs and webhook events after a Facebook Page administrator or other authorized person connects or authorizes a Page for use with the App.
The App may also create operational information while processing events, including processing status, duplicate-prevention records, timestamps, delivery results and error information.
3. How We Use Information
Information may be processed to:
- receive and process eligible Facebook Page events;
- understand the language and context of eligible comments;
- generate appropriate Page comment replies;
- prevent duplicate or unintended replies;
- apply rate limits and safety controls;
- maintain service reliability and security;
- troubleshoot failed or ambiguous processing;
- maintain operational and audit records; and
- respond to privacy and deletion requests.
4. Artificial Intelligence Processing
For eligible comments, comment text and limited relevant context may be processed using Google Cloud Vertex AI services to generate a proposed response.
Only information reasonably needed for the applicable processing task is intended to be supplied to the AI-processing component.
5. Service Providers and Infrastructure
The App uses services that may include:
- Meta Platforms, for Facebook Page APIs, authorization and webhook delivery; and
- Google Cloud, for application infrastructure, data storage, security, backups and Vertex AI processing.
Information may be processed by these providers as necessary to provide their services and subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
6. Sale and Advertising Use
We do not sell Facebook Page interaction data processed by this App.
We do not use information processed by this App to build advertising profiles or serve targeted advertising.
7. Security
We use technical and operational safeguards intended to protect the systems and information used by the App.
These include access controls, secure transport, server-side credential handling, processing controls and safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access, duplicate processing and unintended actions.
No internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Data Retention
Operational information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the App, prevent duplicate processing, investigate errors, maintain system integrity, satisfy legitimate operational requirements and comply with applicable obligations.
Retention may vary depending on the type of record and its operational purpose.
We do not state a fixed retention period where the underlying system does not enforce one.
Users may request deletion of information associated with their interaction as described below.

10. User Choices
Users may contact us to ask about information associated with their interaction with the App or request deletion where applicable.
We may request limited additional information when reasonably necessary to identify relevant Page interactions or records and to prevent unauthorized deletion requests.
11. Third-Party Platforms
Use of Facebook and other Meta services is also governed by Meta's own terms, policies and privacy practices.
This Privacy Policy describes the practices of Page Comments Access and does not replace the policies of Meta or other third-party service providers.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its data practices or applicable requirements change.
The current version will remain available at this URL and the effective date will be updated when appropriate.
